A Versatile Solution for the Welsh Government's Event Space
The Welsh government, housed in a large building in Wales, needed a versatile event space on the ground floor. Their requirements included radio microphones, translation services from English to Welsh and vice versa, as well as assistive listening capabilities. While traditional methods could have been used, the team quickly realized that the Unite system could fulfill all these needs seamlessly.
A comprehensive Unite setup
The Unite system was deployed to link all the products together, connecting to the digital signal processor that fed the loudspeakers inside the event space. The unique aspect of this setup was the ability to split the space into two areas - a large open atrium and a larger area with a 2.5-meter ceiling. To ensure optimal coverage, six access points were strategically placed, along with over 300 receivers, six handheld microphones, six body pack transmitters for presentations, and two rpt's for translation purposes.
Simplicity and versatility of Unite
One of the major advantages of the Unite system was its simplicity and consistency for end-users. Regardless of the specific device they were using - whether handheld microphones or body pack transmitters - the settings remained the same. The Unite system effortlessly handled radio microphones, translation services, assistive listening, and even served as a tour guide system when required. With just one training session, everyone could quickly become familiar with using the Unite system for various purposes.
The Welsh government found the Unite system to be the ideal solution for their event space needs. With its ability to seamlessly integrate various functionalities, consistent user interface, and ease of use, Unite provided a comprehensive and versatile solution. The Unite system's successful implementation allowed the Welsh government to conduct events, presentations, and translations smoothly, making it a valuable asset in their public institute.
