Working as a Demand Planner:
You translate the demand planning into Purchase Orders to (external) EMS.
You determine the planning strategy of new projects and monitor/control those of existing projects.
You monitor/challenge KPI’s (on-time delivery, throughput time, …) of the different production plants, challenge processes in order to increase plant performance.
You provide input for the S&OP planning and ensure an accuracy of +/-10% for next month’s estimate, +/- 20% month for the month after.
Forecast accuracy and on time delivery are two important performance indicators.
Together with product management and sales / distribution partners, you define forecasting data and establish mid / long term demand planning. You challenge the forecasting process in order to increase the accuracy (execute, monitor, control) and to minimize the impact and risks on inventory.
Professional skills we’re looking for:
A Master’s degree in the field of supply chain, mathematics or statistics.
Strong analytical skills are required.
You have a strong affinity with sales and supply chain, experience as a planner is a plus.
Experience with purchase orders and material master data.
But our ideal colleague also:
Has excellent excel and ERP (preferably SAP) skills.
Has excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) in English.
Is no-nonsense, proactive and positive minded.
