The intention of this thesis is to perform research on automatic building of relevant dashboards to be applied on Televics production database. This database contains a large amount on production and test related data for each component that is produced in our Belgian, Bulgarian and US site.
The aim should be to visualize relevant dashboards in function of the user and to alert specific users in case there are certain anomalies or trends.
A specific use case could be related to a production manager who is triggered automatically when the testresults on a specific product show a decrease in yield. The origin for such an issue could be related to a component quality issue. It is important that a fast action can be initiated in such a case.
When the operation manager would like to know more, a clear dashboard should provide him more insight in the cause of the failure (which test fails) and why there was an alert.
The thesis should focus on the selection of relevant dashboard frameworks applicable to MySQL databases. By connecting to the production database, the configuration and scripting can be developed in order to support the visualization and alerts as defined by a number of use cases.
The thesis should result in a demonstration of the functionality against the selected use cases.
