ABOUT FU JEN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY
The Graduate Institute of Cross-cultural Studies at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, has one of the most established Interpreter Training programmes in Asia.
New facilities at the University include an Interpreter Training Suite, a Discussion room with recording and a large Conference Room, with provision for Interpretation and Audience participation.
"Our new interpreter training system includes both hardware and software, which can be used in a classroom setting and in self-study mode. We are currently using the system for SI classes in our Chinese-English and Chinese-Japanese language pairs, consecutive interpreter classes, and distance learning (with SI)."
"During non-class hours, our students also use the system for self-study and practice. The system has superior audio quality, which eliminates all interference over the microphones and headsets."
