We are currently on the lookout for a motivated and ambitious Finance Team leaderto join our team.
As Finance Team lead you are responsible for all operational accounting and financial aspects of Televic Bulgarian. The role is part of a matrix organization with reporting lines to Televic Bulgaria general management and Televic Group finance management. You lead a team of experts and have the final responsibility for the local financial processes.
You lead, support and coach your team members in their daily tasks and objectives. You motivate and encourage them in their personal development.
You check, report and analyze accounting data and guarantee a correct and timely month-end and year-end closing.
You assist with the year-end closing of various records: drawing up annual accounts, tax returns, cash planning.
You Identify opportunities for process improvements and together with your team, you propose and carry out various initiatives to optimize the department.
You develop solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies and other financial issues.
You control the Accounts Payable/Receivable process, manage payments and online banking, and ensure financial transactions are performed in compliance with company policies.
Our successful candidate has:
University degree in Finance or Business Administration
Relevant experience on a similar position preferably within international environment
Excellent knowledge of accountancy and taxation, understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Real passion for working collaboratively, strengthening a team, improving efficiency, and implementing new insights
Hands-on mentality and you are a problem solver. You know how to set the right priorities.
Fluency in English – both written and spoken
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software tools, SAP experience would be an advantage
Good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels
High accuracy and is well organized
An eye for detail and strong analytical skills, you are process driven and always looking for improvements
Experience in payroll would be considered as a plus
