AZ Damiaan, Ostende (BE)

The new AZ Damiaan hospital, which opened its doors in Ostend at the end of 2015, is a pioneer in the Flanders region of Belgium.
Both robots (receiving robot Pepper and care robot Zora) and other modern equipment assist the care staff in their daily tasks. The hospital is fully equipped with the trustworthy Televic iTec.
329 beds are provided with the nurse call system. Communication between patients and nurses takes place on a daily basis over the high-quality DECT and iTec technologies.
AZ Damiaan itself is a sustainable, energy-efficient institution. The care for their patients is vital and therefore they can benefit from the investments made in the renovated hospital and in its modern technologies.
