Televic Healthcare (THC) offers professional communication systems within the care sector for nurse call, intercom, access control, patient entertainment, care registration and localization. The purpose is to make this nurse call system more intelligent and provide useful context data to the nurses when receiving a call so she can better assess the situation. Today, calls are now being dispatched to the mobile device of the nurse. The goal of this thesis is to investigate how this context data can be added. In this way future calls can be handled more intelligently.
The current mobility application needs to be extended to support context data, notifications and tasks. Following features need to be implemented:
Display context data with alarm call
Request specific data
How to differentiate between call, notifications and tasks
Implement task flow
Additional, some user research can be done in order to optimize the UI and UX of the application.
