Televic Conference offers state of the art wired and wireless discussion systems, applications for simultaneous translation and electronic voting systems. Our wireless conference is used in a variety of use cases ranging from simple ad hoc meeting rooms up to complex multi room conference centres. Even though the setup can be complex the people responsible to setup the meeting room are often not technically skilled. The aim of this project is to design and develop a tool to link wireless discussion units to a specific meeting room or access point by using a mobile device.
The solution must be able to:
Identify wireless discussion units based on a unique identifier readable by a mobile device. This can be a QR code, RFID tag on the unit or NFC.
Collect and push the collected unit mac address and push this info towards the access point installed in the meeting room. This way a list of unit MAC addresses that are allowed to connect to the WCAP is constructed.
Remove any associations between the units and other access points outside the meeting room
Optionally. To enhance security, push specific security keys from mobile device to WCAP and units by using NFC or RFID.
