We are looking for a curious Purchase Officer!
In order to support our growth we are on the lookout for a curious Purchase Officer for our HQ in Izegem. As part of the Televic Group Supply Chain & Operations organization, your main responsibility is the execution of the operational order cycle on an a variety of materials. You are in charge of managing the operational relationship with suppliers for assigned materials.
Working as a Purchase Officer:
You analyze demands for new and existing products and are responsible to buy and follow-up a range of commodities in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
You act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments by communicating any supply problems which may impact business operations and ongoing projects.
You take a leading role to streamline all upcoming deliveries, commit short term deliveries and chase late deliveries to suppliers to guarantee on time delivery.
You detect upcoming critical supply shortages and find best suitable solutions, take appropriate actions and inform all relevant stakeholders to insure the constancy and continuity of all projects.
You engage in assuring ERP data accuracy and initiate related reviews & maintenance.
You evaluate and improve commodity costings and have a supporting role in inventory management.
You assist in data collection on supplier performance and report on Key Performance Indicators.
Professional skills we are looking for:
You are fascinated by supply chain and operations and have strong analytical skills.
You have a Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in Supply Chain or Economics.
You have five years of experience within a supply chain environment.

Also has excellent communication skills;
Is not afraid to negotiate and is persistent to achieve KPI’s;
Had knowledge of SAP or is interested to learn this;
Speaks and writes English fluently.
