Content management and data transfer

Televic GSP will provide the new passenger information system. The scope includes the provision for real-time visual information via TFT screens and interfaces with existing systems. For content management and data transfer Thalys has chosen Televic GSP's software solution LiveCoM Suite.

7 % more seats

The modernization will significantly increase the fleet’s capacity, as more people and more luggage will fit onto a single train.

“Our new trains will be more attractive and modern and will ensure the highest level of comfort for our passengers”, says Agnès Ogier, CEO of Thalys.  “As we are committed to sustainable development, we will optimize previously unused space to create 15 percent more luggage room and seven percent more seats in the future.”

The first modernized high-speed train will go into service in 2020. By the end of 2022 all trains will be modernized.
