Televic Education

Televic Education is a world leader in the development of research-based solutions that help solve training, quality, certification, accreditation, permanent evaluation and collaboration challenges in many different industries.

The combination of our in-depth knowledge of specific sectors with scientific research has enabled us to create innovative solutions and to build long-term relationships with our clients that range from governments, educational institutions, hospitals as well as corporates.

AssessmentQ is a digital exam platform developed and maintained by Televic Education. 250+ customers are using assessmentQ for organizing online and digital (practice) exams.

Currently we are using several different database systems for storage of data. Among this we use ElasticSearch for searching questions and assignments and we use MongoDB for storage of reporting data. As both systems are basically NoSql databases capable of doing the same things, we would like to move the search data from ElasticSearch to MongoDB. This will simplify the architecture and reduce the technology stack, complexity and cost.

The main goal of this internship is to investigate the performance of MongoDB Search, and to modify the search related components of assessmentQ so they use the MongoDB Search API. Some basic knowledge of C# (.NET Core) will be required for that.
