assessmentQ is a digital exam platform developed and maintained by Televic Education. 250+ customers are using assessmentQ for organizing online and digital (practice) exams.

With this thesis we want to gather more insights in the general topics present in an exam and how these topics are related. You will research and develop a tool that automatically transforms the contents of a text into a knowledge graph (or other, similar data structure), and apply this tool on the exam data provided by assessmentQ.

The end result we aim for is a graph-based structure that links all data within a single exam.

What is a knowledge graph?

A knowledge graph describes entities and their relationships. This is often done in triples, e.g., Sparky the dog – has owner – Mark. By gathering these triples for all entities in a text, you will eventually end up with a knowledge graph that encapsulate their respective relations.
