We’re looking for an R&D Hardware Engineer


Televic GSP is an international supplier of electronics and software solutions for train operating companies and train builders. With over 30 years of experience in designing and maintaining on-board communication systems, Televic GSP is a leading supplier for Passenger Information Systems and communication systems for the rail market. Altogether more than 60.000 rail cars are fitted with Televic GSP equipment worldwide.

In order to strengthen our “embedded passenger systems” product team, Televic GSP is looking for a R&D hardware engineer. 

In the “embedded passenger systems” product team you will join a team of skilled and motivated people and work on new product generations.  We are looking for a passionate colleague who wants to help bringing superb quality and innovation to our customers!

Working as an R&D Hardware Engineer at Televic means

  • Collaborating in the definition of the (sub)system level architecture with focus on devices and embedded platforms.
  • Translating (sub)system requirements into technical specifications.  
  • Design and develop product building blocks with high re-use factor.
  • Integrating new technologies in our product offering.    
  • Complete product cycle from component selection to schematic entry up to verification of the design. 
  • Documenting the developed hardware (detailed design, test plan, verification report, …).
  • Continuous improvement of products by f.e. executing reliability tests (stress testing), checking for cost optimizations, staying ahead of obsolescence …    
  • Working in a multidisciplinary and international team in order to combine.
  • different technologies into a performant & configurable system. 
  • Formulating ideas for continuous improvement. 


Do you recognize yourself in this:

  • You have a Master’s degree in the field of engineering (Electronic Design) with preferably 2 years of relevant work experience in mixed signal hardware design (analog as well as digital), signal integrity, SPICE simulation, field busses, recent microcontroller architectures, … 
  • A first work experience can be a plus, but we also want to encourage juniors to apply.
  • You have a general (broad) knowledge of hardware design and verification aspects, including : signal integrity, analog circuits, power supply circuits, …
  • You are a quality-focused person who is passionate about innovation. Learning new technologies makes you happy!
  • You have an eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
  • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and international team.
  • You are a team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • You are an effective communicator within and across teams.
  • Your spoken and written English are excellent!
