Working as a Repair Engineer:

  • Analyze of the PCBAs failed at the programming and the functional tests.
  • Perform repair of PCBAs using BGA Rework station, solder station, hot air, suction station, according to approved procedures and schematics.
  • Test the repaired PCBAs on the intended test system.
  • Record type and quantity of defective circuit boards, report and communicate with Electronics department.
  • Initiate analysis at the customer side and communicates founded repetitive defects caused by design issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose initiatives for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze serial defects occurred during production and perform repair of defective circuit boards.
  • Solve problems that might not have a clear solution. Experiment and use trial and error to fix or solve problems.

Professional skills we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics engineering
  • Thorough knowledge of digital, analog circuits, power supply, microprocessor and ASIC circuits to perform complex repairs
  • Ability to read and understand electronics schematics and component’s datasheets
  • Hands on experience with soldering/ repair equipment (solder station, hot air, suction station)
  • Good level of English language
  • Previous working experience with PCBAs repair is an advantage
  • Take initiatives – make things happen
