We are on the lookout for an embedded Linux SW Engineer to implement, configure, maintain and further perfect the Linux OS on our devices such as audio systems and displays. Join a multidisciplinary and international team of skilled and motivated experts and work with the Linux mainline kernel.

The Details
- You collaborate in the definition of the subsystems level architecture with focus on devices and embedded platforms.
- You translate (sub)systems requirements into technical specifications.
- You use and maintain the Yocto build system and develop software based on the latest LTS mainline kernel.
- You configure the different Linux frameworks according to device specs.
- You develop and adapt (logical) device drivers, in cooperation with expert consultants on the one hand and complex software code and unit tests for Linux on the other.
- You document the developed software and provide support towards QA testing.
About You
- You are an experienced embedded software developer with skills in C, C++ or another Object Oriented Program language.
- You have (broad) knowledge of Linux environments and frameworks such as ALSA, DAPM, network manager, GPIO framework,…
- You have experience with build tools such as Yocto, Source code control (git) and continuous integration.
- Experience with audio communication and processing is a plus.
- You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and international team to combine different technologies into a performant & configurable system.
