Working as Head of Services

  • As head of service, you are the entrepreneur fully responsible for our services business: You manage and master the profit center KPI’s of the After Sales services business (e.g. order & bid pipeline, revenue, EBIT, ROI, cash);
  • You continuously drive our services base business (repair center and obsolescence management) while defining, rolling out, and scaling new service offerings
  • You are the senior manager defining, developing and delivering the After Sales Services  end-2-end business plan
  • You manage the Go-to-market together with Sales & Marketing and take up contacts with strategic clients in collaboration with Sales; you manage the services delivery – collaborating with other departments when needed
  • You role model people leadership by motivating and inspiring your teams while developing their capabilities
  • You report directly to the General Manager and partner continuously with other department related to Engineering, Product Management, Operations and Sales

Professional skills we’re looking for:

  • Proven business acumen and a mindset for BD in a high-tech B2B ecosystem;
  • Solid experience in motivating, inspiring, and leading diverse teams
  • Balancing long-term strategic thinking while scaling short term operational efficiency;
  • Tech savvy and knowledgable of Finance KPI’s;
  • A relevant university degree and/ or MBA;
  • Experience with IoT and SaaS and/or knowledge of Rail operations is a plus;
  • Fluency in English and German (or willing to learn quickly).
