Why using an Electronic Nameplate?
An electronic nameplate is an electronic display that replaces traditional paper nameplates in meetings and conferences. It shows participant information—like names, titles, or logos—in a clear, dynamic, and customizable format. It uses E Ink technology for high contrast, wide viewing angles, and minimal eye strain or power consumption.
It can automatically update participant details via software or badge identification, and some models even offer double-sided displays and built-in interaction features like speak request buttons and LED status indicators.

Plixus Nameplate
The Plixus Nameplate streamlines meeting setup by replacing traditional paper nameplates with a sleek, modern solution powered by E Ink technology. It displays crisp, high-contrast text with a 180° viewing angle, ensuring clear visibility from any seat. E Ink also ensures ultra-low power consumption, with information retained even when the device is powered off.
Designed for professional environments, the display is completely free from reflection and flicker, making it ideal for filming or live broadcasts.
Two models are available to suit different setups: the Plixus Nameplate NP-1 (single-sided) and the Plixus Nameplate NP (double-sided), which can independently show information on both sides for maximum flexibility.
Participants can request to speak with a button at the base and see an indication of the status through a LED strip on top. The Nameplate Manager software provides user-friendly and flexible options to save time and speed up meetings: users can easily and quickly configure the contents of the display, from participant names, over logos, to combinations of participant names and titles. A participant’s information can even be displayed automatically when they insert a badge for identification. Templates even allow for quick configuration.
