Deutsche Börse chooses Televic as best-in-class boardroom conferencing solution

New building, new conferencing solution
When the company moved into a new building in Eschborn near Frankfurt, Deutsche Börse Group decided to upgrade the audio and video conferencing equipment in the boardrooms. With the objective to smoothly integrate Microsoft Teams meetings and simultaneous translation into the meeting room solution, the company chose a Televic conferencing system with 34 uniCOS tabletop units. These 10” multimedia units with adjustable touchscreen grant every meeting participant in the boardroom the ability to speak, see, hear, and interact by combining video, audio, and document sharing.
Built-in flexibility and ease of use
As part of a project that focused on expanding the meeting rooms’ technical capabilities, Deutsche Börse wished to combine advanced audio and video conferencing functionalities with a smooth integration of Microsoft Teams meetings. This, of course, with a high level of flexibility and ease of use in mind, for the meeting participants as well as for the technical staff.
Integrated simultaneous interpretation system
The company also needed to consider the possibility to hold meetings and conferences in multiple languages. While in the past, simultaneous translation and interpretation technology was leased separately and built on the existing conferencing system on an as-needed basis, Deutsche Börse now wanted to fully integrate the simultaneous interpretation equipment into the boardrooms’ (tele)conference system. This makes it easier for the company to set up multilingual meetings and conferences quickly and securely whenever the need arises.
Connecting multiple meeting rooms in one single conferencing system
Another big advantage of the new and upgraded conferencing setup is the ability to combine two board rooms - one on the ground floor and one on the 19th floor - using the same meeting solution, the same meeting interface and the same meeting equipment. This is a big win for the company, both in terms of meeting room capacity and social distancing.
