The first nine trains of Northern's new £500m fleet have started carrying passengers. The new vehicles are equipped with Televic GSP solutions, including audio systems, an ethernet backbone, TFT screens and software for content management and data synchronization.

The new fleet consists of 101 trains and is part of the biggest upgrade in a generation, completely transforming travel in the north of England. The rest of the fleet will be rolled out over the next year.
