Internet on the train

The objective of the TR@INS project was to get internet on the train. It was already possible to get mobile access, but there were some major problems:

  • no broadband internet
  • interrupted access
  • poor quality of service
  • no on-board mobility support

Reliable broadband internet onboard

Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine modern on-board technologies without reliable internet. The TR@INS technology is used in several solutions such as passenger information, fleet management, crew communication and security.
